Here we look at configuring Yahoo to access email from other/multiple POP3 Accounts. This is very useful if your email provider doesn't provide web based email access and you need access to your email when travelling, but don't want to change email provider or simply want to consolidate multiple email accounts into a single mailbox. To configure login to your Yahoo email account and select Mail accounts
Click Add account to add a new email account and enter a name for the email account (descriptive name) .
You will need to enter the server details for your POP3 account as shown below:
The colour indicator allows you to differentiate the email from different accounts. Other options are to use different port numbers and the most important option is to leave mail on the pop server. Select this option so as not to remove the mail from your pop3 mailbox so that you can retrieve it using your standard POP3 email client at a later date.
Use Yahoo default account for sending email as shown below:

New email from the various email accounts is colour coded according to your previous selections as shown below:
To get Yahoo to check your POP3 account -highlight the account and click check mail as shown below:
