IncrediMail Stationary

IncrediMail stationary or stationery allows you to personalize your email, whether business or personal. In IncrediMail the term letters is used instead of stationary as in Outlook Express.

Because most people using IncrediMail originally used Outlook Express then you will find the terms IncrediMail letters, IncrediMail stationary, IncrediMail stationery used interchangeably.

Download and Install IncrediMail Stationary, letters or Ecards

IncrediMail stationary, letters and Ecards come as .imf files. To install you usually just need to double click the stationary thumb nail. The .imf file will download and the IncrediMail installer will automatically install it (screenshot below).

If the IncrediMail program is not installed on your machine then instead of seeing the IncrediMail installer you will see the standard windows file download dialog box asking you to select a location to store the file.

IncrediMail Stationary Collections

When you install IncrediMail stationary it is stored in a collection, if the collection name doesn't exist it is automatically created. Collections are equivalent to folders and are used to organise IncrediMail stationary. In the screenshot above you can clearly see the stationary and collection name.

Ecards are normally viewed on Web sites . When someone sends an Ecard the recipient receives a link to the card in an email. When the recipient clicks on that link they are taken to the Ecard website. In IncrediMail the Ecard is sent directly as mail, and so Ecard is in fact just another name for letter or stationary.
