Managing Outlook Express Identities
To manage identities click File>Identities>Manage Identities. Here you
can add new identities and remove existing ones, rename them, and
configure an identity to
require a password.
You can also configure which identity will be used when you open Outlook Express. This only works if you log off from the identity when you exit
Outlook Express. (see below).

Closing Outlook Express
Most people exit outlook express by clicking the close window in the top right
hand corner of the main window. This method of closing outlook express does not
log off the current user. To log off the identity when you exit go to file>
Exit and logoff Identity.
If you just close Outlook Express then the next time Outlook Express opens the
last logged on identity is opened. In addition you are not prompted to enter the
identity password as the identity is still considered to be logged on.
Switching Identities
To switch between identities go to File and select
switch Identities. If the identity has a password you will be
required to enter the password before the identity mailbox is opened.
The name of the the current logged on identity is shown on the blue status bar
at the top.
