Reading, Replying to, and Forwarding Emails
<<Composing and sending an email
Emails are normally delivered to the inbox folder of your mailbox
unless message rules have been configured to move the mail to another folder.
Most email clients display messages in a similar way.
The default view for
thunderbird is shown below. You should notice that the folders are on the left
and then messages are listed on the right.
If you highlight a message then
a message preview appears in the window below (can be turned off ). In
thunderbird f8 toggles message preview on/off.

To read the email double click it or highlight it and right click, then click
open.

At the top of the message in the message toolbar you will see three buttons.
Reply, Reply all and forward.
- Reply- Reply to sender of email only.
- Reply All- Reply to sender and any recipients on the to and CC line.
- Forward- Send a copy of the email message to someone else. Attachments
are also sent.
