Export Yahoo Contacts

To Export your Yahoo Address book (contacts list) so that you can import it into other email clients proceed as follows:

1.Sign in and go to Yahoo mail.
2 Go to the Yahoo! Address Book.
3. Click the "Addresses Options" link on the right of the Address Book and select page the "Import/Export" link. There may be a direct "Export/import" link next to the address options.
4. In the Export section, click the "Export Now" button next to program you want to export to. For example if you are going to import the list into Outlook Express then select "Export Now" button next to  "Microsoft Outlook."
5. When prompted, specify a filename and location in the "Save As" dialog box.

 

NOTES:
 

• The exported .csv  file can be use as an import file in Outlook Express.
   
• The import/export feature allows you to import and export contacts between Yahoo! Address Book and Palm Desktop, Outlook, or Netscape Mail Address Book. Help is available on the export/import page.
   
• Most email programs support the .csv format so the file may be usable with other email programs not listed on the Yahoo export/import page.
