You may have been following the legal fortunes of Research in Motion, makers of the very popular Blackberry device. This
device is the number one wireless email solution but not the only one as our March theme of Mobile Email shows.
There's an interesting article I came across in wired news called back to the future about email services that
allow you to send an email at some point in the future. Not sure that I want to do it though.
You may also have heard the news that yahoo and AOL are going to start charging
for certain type of email but they facing pressure from many groups.
Microsoft have just confirmed what has been rumoured for some time that the new release of windows -Windows Vista will come in 6 flavours.
Mobile email is then name given to accessing email while on the move. Although it is used predominately by office workers for business email, it is also increasing becoming a requirement of home based
email users, who want access to their mailbox while on vacation or away from home.
Web Based email has been the traditional method of providing access to email from a different location. This will likely be the number one method for
several years to come. However new developments in wireless technology and mobile phone networks mean Wireless email is set to become a standard way of providing
mailbox access for people on the move.
Have you thought of having your very own personal email address. Here's a few reasons why you should get your own email address, and how to go about it.
